Found naturally enriched in fish oil, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) are two essential omega-3 fatty acids that are prescribed to treat dyslipidemia and in recent myocardial infarction patients to prolong survival.

Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA/EPA) have been proven clinically efficacious in a wide range of human diseases including atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular, and inflammatory diseases. Additionally, there is a growing body of clinical and preclinical evidence that DHA and EPA have therapeutic potential for the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders, age-related macular degeneration, and cancer.
